Porting your current number into IsOn24
Move your current business phone number to IsOn24: the information we need, how porting works, and how long it takes.
The process for porting numbers into IsOn24 has two steps -
Email the following documents to care@ison24.com:
Duly filled and signed LoA form (Letter of Authorization).
A scanned copy of the most recent bill from your current provider. The bill copy must show the number you want to port to IsOn24. Additionally, if you have multiple phone numbers from the current provider, please send us the complete bill listing all other phone numbers.
Your CSR (Customer Service Record) from your current provider. You may have to call them to get this. The correct CSR is crucial to ensure a smooth number porting process.
Once we receive all of the above information, we will initiate the porting, and it may take up to 4 weeks to complete, at which time your current number would begin to be directly answered by the IsOn24.
Please DO NOT close your account with your current provider until the number porting is complete.
In the meantime, you can begin using your IsOn24 answering number right away:
- List your IsOn24 answering number as an additional number on your website and your social pages, including Facebook, Google, and Yelp.
- Forward all calls from your current number to your IsOn24 answering number.
